Terms of service
These terms cover your household's use of Home Grid, made by GridFleet. Using Home Grid means you agree to them. They are short on purpose.
Your licence
Home Grid is licensed to a household with a household key. You may install it on your own computer and use it for your own family. You may not resell it, share your household key outside your home, or use Home Grid to run a service for other households.
Your family's data is yours
Home Grid keeps your household's information on your own computer. You own it. GridFleet receives only what the privacy policy lists. When you connect a Google or Apple account, Home Grid uses that account only as the privacy policy describes, and you can disconnect it at any time.
Parents are in charge
The parents who set up the home are responsible for who has a profile, for kids' accounts, and for keeping PINs private. Allowances and rewards in Home Grid are a record your family keeps. Home Grid does not move real money.
Vesta and other helpers
Vesta, the house assistant, gives helpful answers but can make mistakes. Check anything important, such as a time or a medicine dose, against the original source.
Connected services
Google Calendar, Apple iCloud and other services you connect have their own terms, which also apply to you. If a service changes or stops working, Home Grid's features that depend on it may stop working too.
Changes and updates
We improve Home Grid over time. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will say so in Home Grid before the change takes effect.
Warranty and liability
Home Grid is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, GridFleet is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a missed appointment. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law where you live.
Ending
You can stop using Home Grid at any time. Uninstall it and delete its data folder, and ask us to delete your licence record. We may suspend a household key that is being misused.
